Biography
Konstantin Litvinenko: Ukrainian born cellist. He studied with Anna Polianskaya in Kherson State Music College and Evelina Sigal in Odessa State Conservatory where he got a full scholarship. While in the Conservatory, he won a cello position at the Odessa State Opera Theater and soon became a soloist in the orchestra. He graduated in 1993 with a Master’s in Fine Arts. Konstantin immigrated to the United States in 1996. In 2010, he graduated from the Florida International University with a Master’s in Cello Performance. He has also taught cello and general music in public and private schools and established a good reputation as a private cello instructor. Konstantin has performed broadly as a soloist and a chamber musician and has toured in Europe as well as in America and Asia. He has played in many orchestras such as the Miami City Ballet, Miami Symphony, Odessa State Philharmonic Orchestra, Odessa State Chamber Orchestra, Moskow Red Star Orchestra, the Florida Chamber Orchestra, Symphony of the Americas, Walenstein Symphony Orchestra, Coral Gables Chamber Symphony, Miami Lyric Opera, The New Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Ars Flores Orchestra.
